GARE DU NORD SET FOR IMPROVEMENT!

Eurostar is delighted to announce the launch of a series of expansion works at Paris Gare du Nord which will improve the station’s check-in area - delivering faster and easier access to the departure lounge for travellers.

These works will improve the layout at check-in and make the flow of travellers smoother by introducing new check-in gates and increasing capacity through border controls. These changes, combined with an additional x-ray machine, will reduce queues at peak times.

The new check-in gates will accept bar-code ticketing which we will be trialling later this year.

The majority of the improvements will be carried out at night to minimise disruption to travellers and the project will be complete by the summer. Trains will continue to depart on time but as some short-term disruption may occur, Eurostar is asking travellers to allow 5-10 minutes more to check-in for their train, especially at peak times.

NEW SINGLE ONE WAY FARE !

For a trial period only we have introduced a new one way standard class fare for Paris, Brussels, Lille and Calais Frethun. These tickets are bookable until 31 May 2008 and travel would need to be completed by 29 September 2008. The fare codes are as follows:-

BW

£65

BX

£50

BY

£44

These fares should be booked in the usual way and fare quoted as CM for Galileo and ECM for Sabre, Worldspan or Amadeus.

Its as easy as that!

Please note that ticket conditions are non-exchangeable and non-refundable
and subject to availability.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT - LEISURE SELECT CHILD MEAL

From the 1 February 2008, it will be possible to pre-book a child's meal in Leisure Select.

The complimentary child meal is available for our young travellers between the ages of 4 and 11 who are travelling on a child ticket in Leisure Select.
The meal will consist of a child friendly main course, chocolate mousse,
fruit and water. Fruit juice and carbonated drinks will also be available. Please note that there will be no child breakfast option.

Child meals will only be available as a pre-booked option and will need to be requested with at least 24 hours notice. Child travellers will continue to
receive the usual Leisure Select meal option, if no special request has been
made.

To request a child meal, enter the following code into Elgar when booking: CHML

ST PANCRAS MAKES IT EASY

The new self-service ticketing area at St Pancras International will be available for
use from Monday 17th December 2007, and will be located just opposite check-in.
Simply provide your travellers with their Elgar reference number (or PNR) and they
can pick up their tickets from the self-service ticket (SST) machines. As much as
we love to see our travellers at the Ticket Office, it's faster and easier to collect
tickets from the SST machines. Just please make sure the correct reference is
supplied. Input your National Lottery numbers or National Insurance code and you
will not get your tickets!
