Fare changes from 5 May 2010
On 5 May 2010, we will be making some changes to the Eurostar overseas fare range. This is in line with the launch of our new class of service Standard Premier and a follow up to the review announced in December 2009 to bring the overseas range in line with our core fare range, to offer consistency across the markets we operate.
- All fare basis codes except Leisure Select semi and non-flexible (Z,I,G,S) are changing.
Existing bookings need to either be ticketed prior to 4th May using the existing codes or on or after 5th May by re-pricing the booking.
- The current Business Premier semi flexible and Standard Full and Semi-flexible fares will be valid for sale and travel up to and including 31 August.
Any bookings held for these fares for travel from 1 September must be ticketed by 4th May or the bookings will need to be re-priced.
There will be no semi flexible Business Premier or fully flexible Standard fares applicable from 1 September.
- New Standard Premier (Z, I, G, S) and new Standard semi-flexible (Y, B, H) fares will be available for sale for travel from 1 September 2010.
- Alignment of fare ranges will result in a small number of prices point changes on journeys commencing in Brussels and Lille only.
Additional notes for Sabre Agents:
- From 5 May, Business Premier, Standard Class and the new Standard Premier fares will now be available for Sabre users in the Public tariff.
- All Leisure Select (Z, I, G and S) fares exclusive to the overseas market will remain filed in the Private tariff until 31 August 2010.
All changes will be reflected in your GDS fare display from 5 May. For any questions please contact Eurostar Agency Support on 1 800 791 2842 or email gdssalesusa@eurostar.com
