Fare basis code change

To simplify the fare display when pricing fully flexible Y class fares, the single and return fare basis code have been changed to Y1FFLXOW and Y1FFLXRT respectively (previously YOWE and YFFLXRTE). Reference fare guide.

Elgar switch off dates for Travel Management Companies only

Eurostar has begun to phase out Elgar within the Business trade and will fully switch to the GDS for Travel Management Companies accessing Elgar at the end of 2009. The switch from Elgar to the GDS will provide greater efficiencies, making it easier to book Eurostar through simplified comparison searches and enhanced aftersales functionality.

The timelines when Elgar will be removed are highlighted below;
Amadeus : Monday 29 June
Sabre: Monday 24 August
Galileo: Monday 30 November

TMCs booking through the GDS will no longer have access to Elgar after the dates above therefore please ensure that all Elgar provisional bookings have been issued the day prior to the switch off date.
