Booking Steps

Coach and seat numbers are allocated automatically once a booking has been ended. Only confirm a booking to a client when coach and seat numbers appear in Seat Data and the time limit appears as a Vendor remark.

Create PNR using standard Galileo entries. Include sell seat, name and Recieved from field

Request seat type or specific seat (optional) - Please click here for help with seating

End and Retrieve, then Ignore and Retrieve booking to refresh display

Check Seat Data displayed (*SD), this should appear in a short space of time. Check that seat numbers, as well as coach, are confirmed in vendor remarks e.g. coach 12 seat 21. If no seat numbers appears, refer to overbooking procedures.

Now check Vendor Remarks (*VR) for the time limit and ensure the booking is e-ticketed before the date displayed. Bookings are automatically cancelled when the time limit expires (HX status)

To price bookings use FQAC9F or FQAC9F/PE00 (as applicable)

Don't forget to check fare notes, specifically penalties

Complete booking using usual form of payment and e-ticketing entries

Eurostar Frequent Traveller number can be added using the full 17 digits, all numbers begin with 308381 e.g. M.9F30838112345678910 The number will not appear on the Eurostar ticket. For further information please click here.
