Lost Property

All non-perishable items are kept for 28 days at the lost property office at the terminal where the item was found, or at the arrival station for items left on the train. Collection and/or storage charges may be applied. A postal fee is payable to all lost property offices where appropriate.

For France please note that this is an SNCF office, there is no 'personal contact.' Passengers should either fax their information or leave their name and contact details on the answer phone, along with details of the item they have lost. If the item has been handed in, the SNCF office will call back to arrange collection/return.
